Privacy Policy

MyNoteyNotes ("the app") is developed by Mark Torrano ("I", "me", "we", "us"). This privacy policy explains what information the app does and does not collect.

Summary

MyNoteyNotes does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal information. All notebooks, drawings, text, and images you create in the app are stored only on your device.

Information we do not collect

MyNoteyNotes does not collect any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Account credentials (no account or sign-in is required)
• Location data
• Contacts, calendar, or health data
• Device identifiers used for tracking (IDFA, device fingerprints)
• Crash reports, analytics, or telemetry beyond Apple's standard anonymous system diagnostics (which you can disable in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements)

Information stored locally on your device

When you use MyNoteyNotes, the following content is saved only in the app's own sandbox on your device:

• Notebooks you create (titles, cover choices, paper styles)
• Pages, handwritten strokes, text, and images you add
• Custom cover images you import from your photo library
• App settings (selected pen, color, thickness, and similar preferences)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it through iOS features (e.g., AirDrop, screenshot, or exporting via the share sheet).

Permissions the app may request

• Photo Library — Only when you tap the image-import button to add an image to a notebook page or to use a photo as a custom notebook cover. The app asks only for read access to the specific photo you choose, and does not access your library in the background.

We do not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, or any other sensitive permission.

Third-party services

MyNoteyNotes does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, authentication, or cloud-storage service.

Children's privacy

MyNoteyNotes does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the app collects nothing from anyone, this applies equally to users of all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the new version will be published at the same URL and the effective date above will be revised. Because the app does not fetch remote content, updates to this policy will not be pushed to you automatically.
